- Two of the following warm alternatives
are available every day:
sausages; bacon; black sausage; meat balls;
sausage and potato hash; omelette; mini
Karelian pies.
- Rye, wheat or mixed flake porridge available
every day.
- Boiled eggs, 4 and 7 minutes.
- A wide selection of breads from the
local bakery and bread rolls baked in
the hotel's own oven. Crispbread, crackers,
savoury biscuits, Scandinavian flatbread,
crisp toasted cinnamon rolls, toast, rye
bread and rice cakes. Margarine and fresh
butter. A selection of sweet biscuits
or pastries.
- Waffle-making facility available every
day during summer and at weekends at other
times.
- Yoghurt and fruit salad or tinned fruit
/ blueberry soup.
- Cereals:
corn flakes; bran flakes; fruit, strawberry
or raisin muesli. Rice crispies and kids'
cereals for the children.
Sunflower and flax seeds; wheat and oat
bran; raisins; dried banana chips; mixed
dried fruit.
- Jam and marmalade:
blackcurrant, raspberry or lingonberry
jam; strawberry jam and orange marmalade.
- A selection of seasonal fruit:
apples, pears, kiwi fruit, honey or water
melon, plums, grapes, nectarines, fresh
pineapple, bananas, oranges.
- Cold selection
Seasonal vegetables: cucumber, tomato,
sweet pepper, green salad,
pickled cucumber, herring (in tomato,
onion or mustard marinade)
Cold cuts: cured or cold ham, turkey,
salami , etc.
Two types of sliced cheese.
- Beverages:
fresh coffee (not from a vending machine);
brewed tea; tea bags (four flavours);
honey; hot chocolate. Apple and orange
juice; water; milk (skimmed and low lactose).
